Thursday, March 5, 2009Congrats Zhou!Hello, back from the whirlwind of activities today! whirl wind my foot la. actually, I secretly enjoy such carefree-ness. HAHA. I woke up damn late this afternoon and decided to watch the slumdog millionare with WX this evening. Quite a worthy watch, since I paid only 6 dollars (weekday student promotion HAHAHA) And now I know the man's face printed on the US one hundred dollar bill is Benjamin Franklin's. ![]() One of the founding fathers of USA! Great leaders have huge forehead, and I shouldn't be ashamed of mine. Check Lee Kuan Yew! ![]() Check Martin Luther King! ![]() Check Rihanna! ![]() HAHAHA AND CHECK OUR LOVELY TYRA : ![]() work it, mama. Okay, I realised this entry has absolutely no point, besides trying to defend the whole clan of high-foreheaded people. I MEAN. YOU CAN ENCOMPASS BOTH INTELLIGENCE AND BEAUTY WITH A HIGH FOREHEAD, SO WHY ARE WE ALL SO AFRAID OF SHOWING IT OFF?!?!?!?! CHECK. HAHAHAA OMG, I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING AT THIS PICTURE. LOLOLOLOL. This is taken 3 years ago. HAHHAHAHA, sadly, my forehead didn't shrink. OMG, as a remedy for your shock after that picture... This is me 3 years later. ![]() Minimal photoshop I swear (complexion and lighting). Okay, plus a good photographer, ZHOU LOL. Okay, whatever, FRINGE FOR THE WIN. Side swipe, or bangs, or whatever, grow a fricking fringe to save your life. :D Just don't be too obssessed and look emo. ![]() ---- I will jump abruptly back to my day, oh yes, after movie, I went to Zhou's exhibition with Noise Singapore at FarEast. Her tower is pretty awesome. FREE PLUG and MENTION, HONOURED NOT!!! Koped from Zhou's blog. ![]() [Quote]I came home to show my mom and sis the photos and all they could say to me was that melvin_rules's tower is nicer than mine and that I am very stupid to draw so many details, because for big ads, block colours make more impact. Which means, my tower makes no impact. What a supportive family I have.[Unquote] I think details are important lor! Every little detail embodies the artist's spirit and pride for their work, I appreciate it ok! And I think detailed work creates a more fierce(LOL) and exquisite finish to an artwork, though it's impragmatic in modern times, (LOL, zhou lives in the cave ah.) but very little people can be so attentive of meticulous details now. Makes it special what, don't you think? Not like me ah, impatient and embarrasssingly careless (one who likes to look at the big picture all the fking time, literally), I can't do anything detailed la, it'll take me forever. Soompah. I feel damn proud for Zhou lah, I wanna have my own exhibition too! HAHA. They have this cube thingie to display the artworks by people and the organisor happily put the raw name of the image document without asking the artists to rename. Like, for example, Zhou had this series of fish drawing and it was meant to be spreads of pages to form a illustrated book (for VPres), and it was named "Spread 1.jpg", "spread 2.jpg" etc etc. for easy reference while printing right. The organisors go and put the file name as the works' titles, SO FUNNY OMG. Like, ![]() This was entitled, SPREAD 6 on the exhibition. LOL. OMG. HAHA, figure this, everytime before final submission and we're ready to print our work, the frustration and anger always surges and imagine if Zhou typed the below and submitted for exhibition. VISUALPRESSGOEATSHITANDDIESPREAD1.jpg, or OMFG-EPIC-TO-BE-PRINTED.jpg, IWANTTOKILLLILLE.jpg. (LOL). I wonder the outcome. HAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Bye.
